The desert has been an inspiration to many artists. Once you visit, the impression is lasting.
With nature being my number one muse hand carved block prints, natural dyes, and various other techniques, are used in my work. Some of the material I utilize is raw, foraged and repurposed as sustainable issues are a concern.
West of Here and the iconography I use are informed by the landscape of the great southwest. The light, colors, flora & fauna, and my desire to once again be there.
The hope to create handmade goods that will have you travel back speak of something tangible yet unreachable, lying just beyond the horizon, west of here.
